Philippa is a qualified, chartered, HCPC registered psychologist with over 15 years of experience working in the NHS. This has given her a wealth of experience and knowledge about how to support mental health growth and recovery, as well as staff, team and service development.
After working full time in the NHS for her career she has moved to part time to develop a private practice and offer her services outside the NHS.
Philippa's therapy work is guided by the best practice evidence base, including CBT, EMDR and ACT, as recommended by the National Institute of Clinical Excellence. Her service development work is guided by leadership and Quality Service Improvement and Redesign (QSIR) principles.
Her most recent publication is a chapter on ‘Older Adults’ Psychology’ in Best, D., Nicholas, H., & Bradley, M., (2022) Roles and Contexts in Counselling Psychology.
